Get rid of excess fluid and toxins with a lymph massage treatment plan at Elite Body Treatment.
Most people believe weight loss occurs solely as a result of a reduction in body fat, disregarding the effect that fluid retention has on weight and body mass. They are often unaware that the body stores a large amount of fluid that causes bloating and excess weight. Unnecessary fluid is processed by the lymphatic system that drains excess fluid away from body tissue. Sometimes this drainage process can be slow or ineffective.
At Elite Body Treatments, we offer a lymph massage service that promotes the drainage of excess fluids while removing harmful toxins and improving the appearance of cellulite. Ultimately, lymphatic draining results in significant weight loss and an enhanced body tone. To book in for a consultation, please contact us.
What is the lymphatic system?
The lymphatic system consists of a network of vessels and lymph nodes. The vessels carry fluid – known as lymph fluid – to the nodes to be processed for the removal of excess fluid and toxins.
The body contains multiple lymph nodes located throughout the body, in the neck, armpits, groin, and elsewhere. Because the system has no ‘pump’ of its own, this process can be very gradual. Lymphatic draining treatments aim to accelerate the removal of fluids from body tissue and enhance the eradication of toxins.
How does lymphatic treatment work?
Elite Body Treatments’ lymphatic massage service involves the precise application of pressure – on various parts of the body – to stimulate the lymphatic system. It is performed by one of our highly trained experts using the Bodislim Ultrasonic Cavitation system. Using this machine, we are able to massage the relevant parts of the body, promoting toxin and fluid expulsion through the lymph nodes. It is recommended that clients undergo six lymphatic draining treatments after which they will be able to see a reduction in weight and cellulite. Lymph massage is suitable for use as a standalone treatment or can be used in conjunction with fat cavitation.
